Oktoberfest Frisco

Welcome to Oktoberfest!

I’m your host Andy Grogger.  I  was born and raised in Austria and then moved on to Munich, Germany.    That’s my family crest you see on our header.  It was there that I learned the craft of ice sculpting from the European Masters.   For several years, I worked at the Munich Oktoberfest and managed one of the beer tents.

Since coming to America, I have enjoyed sharing my heritage with my friends.   I bring my love of the music, food and culture to host the most authentic Oktoberfest west of Munich.  Come join me in Frisco, CO where we will dance a polka, drink a stein and eat a brat all in the traditional Oktoberfest style.

Some would say, Oktoberfest is about the beer and we will surely quench their thirst.  We will feature beers from a few of Germany’s finest breweries.  My popular catering company Andy’s Kitchen will be preparing all of the food.  Besides Brats, you can look forward to schnitzel and Knödel too!

All this food and beer will taste even better as you enjoy the day’s entertainment.  The day will start off in the Oktoberfest tradition with the town band performing.  We are excited to have the Summit Concert Band in that role.  They are also our non-profit partner for Oktoberfest and will receive proceeds from the beer sales.  I have played with Those Austrian Guys for years and we’ll be playing all afternoon.  Additionally, dancers from TEV Edelweiss group will be performing and may even ask you to dance.

If you’re looking for an extreme Oktoberfest experience join in on the Liter Stein Holding and Leg Wrestling Contests.  Or, try your skill with a hammer & nail.  It’s not as easy as you think to drive a nail into a log. These are all the things I knew from the best festivals in Austria & Germany.  I hope you will come and have some fun too!
